Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer I'ma Tim Robinson is based in Morganton, NC, where he has been writing, performing and producing original music for more than 20 years. As a man born with a common name, Tim Robinson claims to be just one Tim, hence his chosen stage moniker: I'ma Tim Robinson.

Tim's regionally popular music festival & camp-out, Joey Times Reunion, has promoted western Carolina musicians & other regional acts for nearly a decade, and given Robinson the opportunity to share many a stage with prominent Carolina musicians...performing with several different outfits including Blunt Head Trauma, Tim Alimena Music, Turnup Truk, & Dreads for Brains.

Now on his debut solo EP, I'ma Tim Robinson's sound spans a variety of genres. His music has a folk singer's soul with intention & storytelling, roots reggae inspired bass licks, in-the-pocket grooves; playful lyrics, and a subtle touch of pop...he hopes there's a little bit of something for everyone.

Bonus track included with album purchase: "CONMAN" is a new bonus track from Western North Carolina musician, songwriter and producer I'ma Tim Robinson. "Conman," originally recorded in 2014, was written for someone specific, but over the years evolved into a message of self-awareness and integrity. "Conman" is an ode to the person you don't want to be. There are a lot of con men out there; don't become one.
